The highly anticipated Version 2.5 update has arrived in Wuthering Waves, introducing the long-awaited Resonator Phrolova to the battlefield. Known as the “Tempest Diva,” Phrolova wields her Hydro-elemental mastery and precision combat techniques to dominate both solo encounters and large-scale fights. Her debut marks a major shift in team compositions, bringing a mix of agile ranged combat and supportive buffs that can turn the tide of any battle.
Alongside Phrolova, this patch delivers a host of new features, quality-of-life improvements, and limited-time events that will run from July 24 to August 14, 2025. - Story Chapter – Melodies of the Deep: Dive into a new narrative arc revealing Phrolova’s mysterious past as a performer-turned-warrior, complete with cinematic cutscenes and challenging boss fights.
- Limited-Time Banner: Increased drop rates for Phrolova, as well as returning fan-favorites like Sanhua and Mortefi. Special weapon banner “Ocean’s Overture” features her signature catalyst.
- Event – Rhythm of the Waves: Participate in music-themed combat trials, time your attacks to the beat, and earn rare Echoes, Astrite, and exclusive outfit cosmetics.
